I don’t know about you, but I was not familiar with “micellar”, so I did some research and learned that it is an aggregate of molecules in a colloidal solution, such as those formed by detergents.
The cleansing molecules in traditional cleansers work alone to dissolve makeup, so you have to rub your face harshly and rinse with water to completely clean your skin. But the micelle molecules cluster together to lift dirt, oil and impurities on contact. No rubbing or rinsing are required.
I was sent two versions of this product, one for Normal to Oily Skin, and the other for Normal to Dry Skin. Since my skin is normal, I thought it would be fine to test each.
After just the first use, I found this to be a terrific and possibly revolutionary way to remove make up. True to its promise, a pad saturated with the product removed even stubborn waterproof mascara and dark red lipstick. I just loved it! The delicate skin around my eyes was not slick with oil (the way some products left it) but it wasn’t dry either. Just soft, fresh, clean skin. And the generous 13.5 bottle makes it a bargain as well! This is a new favorite, and I’m sure it’s destined to become a classic.
