If you love great makeup at drugstore prices, then you probably are a fan of NYX!
The NYX Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powders, $8, comes in five shades. I have four of them. The colors I have are Synthetica, Crushed Bloom, Twilight Tint, and Snow Rose. The formula has light-catching pearls with deliver a luminous finish that looks different from every angle. What’s great about the shade range here is that there is something for everyone! From the palest to the deepest skin tones, you’ll be able to use these highlighters. My favorite is Snow Rose, which is what I’m wearing in the photograph.
I have several shades of the NYX Face and Body Glitter, $6 including Crystal, Gold, Blue, Red, Silver, Ice, Violet, and Gunmetal. My favorite is Ice. These are very fine loose glitters and you will need a glitter adhesive to apply them. The jars have sifters so the glittery mess is kept to a minimal! There are 12 shades in all to choose from.
I was super excited to see that NYX came out with the Inner Eye Brighteners, $10, with 12 shades available. These are cream eye pigments and they come in a variety of shades, mostly super bright colors! I have Aqua Sapphire, Bad Blood, Blueprint, Rebellious Edge, Sugar Rush, Light Show, Get Money, Glam Rock, Cyberpop, Love Overdose, Endless Skies, and Pillow Talk. Most of these are matte creamy shades but there are two that are shimmery/metallic. In the photograph, I am wearing Pillow Talk as a base for a less pigmented shimmery eyeshadow that I applied on top. These eyeshadows set so they will last all day long without creasing.
Lastly, NYX has two new lines of eyeliners. The Faux White Inner Eye Brighteners and the Faux Black Inner Eye Liners, $8 each. The shades I have for the Faux Whites are: White Smoke, Lavendar Blush, Vanilla, Honeydew, Seashell, Mint Cream, and Linen. The shades I have for the Faux Blacks are: Oxblood, Obsidian, Blackberry, Black Olive, Black Hole, Midnight, and Burnt Sienna. The formula is amazing. They set and do not budge. I used Vanilla from the Faux Whites in my inner corner in the photograph, and applied an eyeshadow over the top. I used Obsidian from the Faux Blacks on my lower inner water line. They are creamy and apply easily without dragging the delicate skin of your eye area.
Overall, I am in love with all of these products and they are all high quality.
