Alice in Wonderland Organix Shampoo With its talking rabbits, mystical creatures, and fire-breathing dragons, Disney's Alice in Wonderland truly transports you into a fairytale state of mind. The film was directed by Tim Burton, a true visual artist, who is known most famously for his films Edward Scissorhands, Beetle Juice and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. All of his movies feature stunning graphics and effects that are unlike any other. Alice in Wonderland sparks Burton's seventh movie collaboration with actor Johnny Depp, who is amazing as The Mad Hatter in this film. But when is Johnny Depp not amazing? Full of vividly bright colors and wildly fantastic scenery, Alice in Wonderland will have you wondering if you've fallen down that rabbit hole. Organix Alice in Wonderland Inspired Cherry Blossom Ginseng In keeping with the imaginative theme of the movie, Organix has created the Rejuvenating Cherry Blossom Ginseng Shampoo and a complementing Conditioner. Organix, the fast growing hair care brand, is known for their innovative ingredients and sensual flavors. This shampoo and conditioner duo is a blend of cherry blossom extracts, Asian ginseng root, rice milk and bamboo extracts that promise to add volume to the roots while adding hydration and shine. I ran home to test out the products after I saw the movie and I am loving the results. And an added bonus: my hair smells incredible! The hair styling in the movie featured loose, flowing curls full of shine and body which was a perfect compliment to the ethereal feel of this film.
As a kid, the film Alice in Wonderland was more than an inspiration to me. I watched it repeatedly and fell in love with Alice, The Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit and the Queen to such an extent that they played over and over in my head like a broken record. Jabberwocky was one of my all time favorite poems (originally composed by Lewis Carroll as a part of his novel Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There and is considered one of the greatest nonsense poems of all time). Urban Decay The box's illustrations is pop up style, just like a children's picture book. It transported me decades to when I was in high school, loving my coloring pencils and reading pop up books like it was going out of style. This is one ingenious idea on the part of Urban Decay- to bring out the kid in you as adults reach for their version of the "coloring pencil" (in this case, it's your paintbrush and eyeshadows, of course). Drink Me So when Urban Decay said they were coming out with the "Book of Shadows" version for Alice in Wonderland, my heart too did a Jabberwocky. Urban Decay Book of Shadows The set comes with 16 shadows, two complimentary 24/7 Glide On Eye pencils and one bottle of eyeshadow primer. Ready, get set play!! Here are some of my most favorite shades. Underland: is a purple shade that reminds me of the shade of eggplant. It is a more intense purple than UD's Retrograde and #54. Underland from Urban Decay Alice: a turquoise, oceanic blue. It is almost exactly the color of UD's Atmosphere eyeshadow. Alice from Urban Decay White Rabbit: a gorgeous, iridescent white powder that sparkles.
