03 Sep Review: Wink Brow Bar’s Isabelle Lancray Vitamin C Customized Facial
As I walked up to the unassuming Wink Brow Bar on Greenwich Ave, I was eagerly greeted by a kind and welcoming staff. I had a particularly rough day, and driving into NYC wasn’t something I wanted to do. As I sat down, waiting for my skincare expert, I was handed a glass of champagne and told to “relax.” So, I did as I was told, and perused the clean and modern decor.

The products they would be using were none other than Isabelle Lancray. These products are wildly popular all over Europe, but not as well known here in the states. Wink is the first location that is bringing this 65-year-old French skincare line to the U.S. Little did I know how fabulous my skin would look 1-hour later! After my oily and sensitive skin was analyzed, I was told I would be receiving a Vitamin C Customized Facial.
First, my skin was cleaned using the Vitamin C Cleansing Foam and Cleansing Lotion. Next, the Puraline Face Wash and enzymatic peel was applied to remove dead skin cells that were the cause of my distress. Next, Pure Vitamin C Serum was infused into my pores via massage. Can I say “heaven!” After my glorious facial massage, the Isabelle Lancray Algae Mask with a special activator locked in all this vitamin C goodness.
My skin was treated layer by layer with different concentrations of vitamin C. Each stage had a role: decongesting my pores, sebum regulation and boosting collagen to keep me looking young and fresh. Last but not least, my favorite product: the Surmer Eye Contour Cream. If you want to keep your eye area looking its best, go and get this cream! This cream infuses the eye area using Nano Technology. To you and me, that means it penetrates deep into the delicate eye area, erasing wrinkles and optimizing hydration.

This state-of-the-art, customized facial is tried and tested for over 65-years. As I emerged from my cozy cocoon, I was greeted by Wink‘s owner, Umbreen Sheikh. Gracious and knowledgeable, being at her salon was a total pleasure. If you are looking to get away and pamper yourself, I highly recommend stopping by her salon and treating yourself. Weather its for fabulous skincare or getting your eyebrows done, trust me, I saw some gals getting their brows done and they all looked like supermodels!
