Our pores tend to get a little clogged from time-to-time, so it’s important to have a great face mask in your skincare arsenal. I recently put the Arbonne Rescue & Renew Detox Face Mask to the test. I’m happy to share this product because I have fallen in love with it! It’s been a few years since I’ve used any products from Arbonne and I had never tried any of their skincare items, so I was really excited to give this one a go.

The Arbonne Rescue & Renew Detox Face Mask retails for $44.00. It has a creamy French pink clay formula that cleanses to draw out impurities from the skin’s surface like a magnet, resulting in smaller-looking pores. Utilizing an oil-pulling technology with 5 self-neutralizing acids to help clarify and brighten your skin’s appearance, the mask transitions from wet to dry to visible show where excess sebum is drawn out. Balanced out with hydrating rosemary oil so your skin is never stripped of moisture, you’ll see this is a true performer.

I have oily, acne-prone skin, and fairly large pores on my nose and inner cheeks, so I was excited to put this mask to the test. As I alluded to earlier, I’m happy to report that this mask gives great results! I also really love the packaging. It’s in a tube with a twist cap, so you can easily squeeze the mask through the bottom without having to take off a cap or flip open a cap. It makes the product very easy to keep clean. I simply ran some water over the end of the cap after using the mask and everything stays nice and clean.

You’re probably more interested in hearing about how the masks works though, huh? I used this mask several times a week for roughly two weeks, maybe slightly longer. I put the mask on and leave it on for about 15 minutes. It dries to be a much lighter color than what it appears like when it’s freshly squeezed out of the tube and applied. As it dries, you can actually see the oil and other gunk that’s being pulled out of your pores. It’s really neat but also kind of gross to see what’s been clogging up your pores! So when I say you can actually see the mask working – you can literally see the mask working!

The mask is easily removed with warm water and a washcloth. After it’s removed, your pores look fresh and your skin doesn’t feel dried out or stripped of all moisture. The rosemary oil in this product does a fantastic job of adding moisture and hydration back into your skin. I like to follow up with a toner after using this mask. I found this product works really well with my skin. I had a few blemishes throughout the time I was using this product and it helped to dry and clear them up nicely. The smell isn’t strong either in my opinion, so if you’re sensitive to scents, I don’t think you’ll have an issue with this product. I even used this mask as a spot treatment on a blemish overnight and found that that works out nicely as well (though the product isn’t marketed that way).

Overall, I’m thoroughly pleased with this product. It works just as described on the Arbonne website. I don’t think you necessarily need to have problematic skin to enjoy this product though – don’t get me wrong. It would be suitable for all skin types. If you’re looking for a weekly mask to clear out your pores, this truly is a fantastic one. After trying this skincare mask from Arbonne, I’m curious to see what other items they have in the skincare department!
