Many of us are on the hunt for natural skincare products that won’t break the bank but are still effective. Nubian Heritage has satisfied that need in the beauty market! They have a variety of products that are available for all skin types, including products that are fragrance free. At what I like to classify as “higher-end drugstore prices,” these products are truly something that both your body and your wallet will enjoy.

Nubian Heritage Shea Butter & Aloe Vera Body Lotion | 12.99

This fragrance-free gentle moisturizing lotion blends Fair Trade Shea and Cocoa Butters with Vitamin E to nourish and soothe delicate and sensitive skin. Aloe Vera naturally hydrates the skin while Cocoa and Shea Butters soften and condition. This lotion is on the thicker side, and not very runny at all, which means it definitely feels super hydrating on the skin. It does truly have zero scent at all. I find that it soaks into the skin nicely, leaving behind a lot of hydration. It does well on dry spots on your skin as well. The fact that it has no fragrance means it won’t irritate any patches of dry skin.

Nubian Heritage Shea Butter & Aloe Vera Body Wash | $12.99

This skin-softening conditioning cleanser blends Fair Trade Shea Butter with Cocoa Butter to gently clean delicate and sensitive skin while hydrating the skin and helping to restore the skin’s natural moisture balance. This product, again, has absolutely zero scent. It suds up nicely on a bath loofa. It pairs really nicely with the body lotion mentioned above. If you’re looking for true non-fragrant products, you would really enjoy these two. They do have a variety of other body lotions and washes available on the website if you prefer scented products though! I know some people prefer unscented washes and lotions because it doesn’t clash with their perfumes.

  • Coconut & Papaya
  • Raw Shea Butter
  • Patchouli & Buriti
  • Indian Hemp & Haitian Vetiver
  • African Black Soap

I have to say that this was the first time that I have ever tried a natural deodorant. I wasn’t sure what to expect. These do have a very hydrating feel under the arms, which feels a little bit tacky until the product soaks in. Each deodorant has a very distinctly different scent and they all smell fantastic. I think African Black Soap is my favorite! I found that for a typical day, applying once in the morning was effective. If I was doing a lot of work where I would be sweating, I definitely needed to reapply halfway throughout the day. I think if you’re on the market for an all natural deodorant, that’s to be expected, and most people would not mind. I certainly don’t, assuming that I am home and able to reapply! I also really enjoy the different packaging for each of the scents.

Overall, as a first time user of Nubian Heritage products, I am thoroughly pleased and eager to see what else the line has to offer. I hope that you all will check out this brand! They have really impressive products for the price point. The products definitely look and feel like higher end items. These products are also available at The Vitamine Shoppe, in stores and on their website here.
