I was unfamiliar with Darphin, but since I am such an ardent Francophile, I was happy to learn more about this botanical Parisian skincare line based on “a harmonious blend of plants and pure essential oils.”
I was eager to try the Ideal Resource Light Re-Birth Overnight Cream that is “the result of fifty years of skincare expertise.” The idea here is that the innovative crème is said to work by “enhancing skin’s own nighttime mechanisms to revive diminished radiance, promote visible anti-aging benefits and perfect skin texture by morning.”
The product contains Line Polish Complex™ (centella asiatica, knotweed and hibiscus extracts), as well as neroli essential oil. It is designed to “restore skin’s glow, stimulate natural collagen production and promote cell renewal every night.”
I used this crème nightly for about two weeks. It is a rich, creamy formula with a delicate floral scent. I found it to be very effective; in the morning my skin was soft and dewy, and my skintone was even, too. An expensive crème but worth the price, especially as we move deeper into winter.
