Swatches, Before/After Photos, Review: Sephora Exclusive Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Colors

Sometimes, when I see pencils as lip colors, I wonder about their texture…Will they tug at my lips upon application? Will they fill the entire lip in nicely? Will they be emollient enough to cover my lips and make them still appear shiny and glossy-looking? The answer is YES.

These two new shades from Urban Decay are anti-feathering, have mega-watt super shine and are truly, highly pigmented. Urban Decay just added these two new colors to their line in Apocalypse, which is a deep berry and in Lovechild — a pale pink hue. The other five already in their line are Adrenaline — a pinkish red with a sparkle finish; Big Bang — a bright fuchsia with a sparkle finish; Crush — a hot pink with a cream finish; F-Bomb — a bright red with a cream finish and Punch Drunk — a bright red-orange with a cream finish. As you can see, each hue has a metallic sparkle or cream finish to them.

These work to moisturize the lips and feel super smooth when applied. Their high pigmented color is loaded with a formula that was created to promote hydration, protect the lips and even rejuvenate the delicate skin, thanks to their plant derivatives. Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Colors sharpen with Urban Decay’s Grind House Sharpener as I tried both my Nars and Sue Devitt — they did not work. Makes sense, I should have bought the one created by Urban Decay. Right?

Each 8mm pencil barrel is color matched to its shade making it easy to find within one’s handbag! These Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Colors are $ 19.00 each and are found EXCLUSIVELY at Sephora and Sephora.com.
