As we ease into fall, we tend to change a lot of things about our style – from clothing to makeup to hair color and style to accessories. This would include our manicure shades!

The Zoya Fall 2017 Nail Color Collectionthe Zoya Sophisticates – contains the latest palette of smoldering nudes, wines, reds, and shadowy hues in pearl, metallic, and cream finishes. There are 12 new shades in total in this collection and they are all absolutely stunning! Let’s talk about the shades.

  • McKenna: a refined pearl in soft almond
  • Beth: a soft, sandy, rose gold metallic
  • Presley: a smokey, mauve taupe cream
  • Joni: a deep, dusty plum cream
  • Hera: a muted, red mauve cream
  • Padma: a deep, vermillion red cream
  • Yvonne: a rich, Bordeaux red cream

  • Elaine: a dark, umber brown cream
  • Hadley: a smokey, midnight blue cream

The Zoya 10 Free Formula is formulated without formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate, toluene, camphor, TPHP, parabens, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, and lead.

These nail polishes retail for $10.00 each and are available at www.Zoya.com or wherever else Zoya products are sold. You can also purchase the polishes in bundles on the Zoya website so if you love this entire collection, you can purchase the whole thing.

The packaging is cute and sleek. The item that I am often most picky about when it comes to nail polish is the brush. I actually really love the brush that comes with the Zoya polishes. It’s not very large but it isn’t too small either. I would say it’s really the perfect size. When you brush the polish onto your nail, the brush splays nicely to allow you to get nice, even coverage. Because of its size, it really allows you to get close to the sides of your nails without getting nail polish everywhere. (I’m not the best manicurist and these are really easy for me to use!)

The best thing about Zoya polishes are that they are opaque with one layer. I applied two layers and then a top coat but the polish was definitely opaque after the first layer. I find that by applying two layers and then a top coat, you get a longer lasting manicure. Plus, the top coat will give your nails a beautiful shine.

The first color that I tried was Hadley. It’s a gorgeous deep midnight blue shade with a cream finish.

The second shade I tried was Padma, another cream finish. I find that you can get about one and a half to two weeks of a chip-free manicure out of these polishes. I think the formula is consistent throughout the polishes.

I am personally a huge fan of cream finish nail polishes. However, metallic and pearl nail polishes are definitely something I like to play around with from time to time. I find the pearl polishes are fun to layer over other colors to change the tone of the polish. (Although, they can be worn alone, too.)

As a collection, I think all of these shades go nicely together and really do represent the season of fall. I will continue to use and play around with these polishes and post photographs from time to time on our Instagram so you can see the colors in action.

Overall, I am blown away by the quality of these Zoya nail polishes. I love that the shades are opaque with one coat. I think that I could utilize all of these polishes throughout the fall and winter seasons and be 100% satisfied.
