(Review, Photos, Swatches) MAC Cosmetics “Glitter and Ice” Holiday 2011 Collection Nail Lacquers: Get Noticed!

(Review, Photos, Swatches) MAC Cosmetics “Glitter and Ice” Holiday 2011 Collection Nail Lacquers: Get Noticed!

Our MAC Holiday 2011 haul sequence continues with the “Glitter and Ice” Holiday Nail Lacquers, which come in three limited edition shades: a violet hued Festive Finery; a super sparkly white lacquer called Unconditionally Fabulous; and a truly cheery holiday red called Get Noticed!

These limited edition nail lacquers are a tad bit on the thin side, but wear beautifully with two coats. Get Noticed! is a truly bright red shade, and one that looks a brown/burgundy red in the bottle but comes off as a nice red when you apply it.

MAC “Glitter and Ice” Holiday 2011 Limited Edition Nail Lacquer in “Get Noticed!”

This reminds me of the Red Delicious Apple and a shade you can’t go wrong with during the holidays. It is a much truer red than OPI’s “Touring America” red shade called “Color to Diner For”:

It also reminds us slightly of Zoya’s “Cola” nail lacquer from the Fall 2010 collection:

Are you a fan of the truly merry holiday red nail lacquer or do you think it’s overdone? Leave us a comment below. The Limited Edition “Glitter and Ice” MAC Cosmetics nail lacquers retail for $16 each.
