(Preview) MAC Launches Glamglass Collection

We’ve seen Dazzleglass, Lipglass, and now, Glamglass.

As the name implies, this is a gloss that’s futuristic and revolutionary, with a different type of brush applicator. Strictly word of mouth marketing, Glamglass is M.A.C.’s latest launch that hits stores July 28th.

MAC Glamglass

Lips speak louder than words, and that’s the gist of M.A.C.’s campaign for this new, high-wattage line that features both lip pencils and super-silky glosses. The glosses have an innovative new brush applicator that imparts vividly alluring shine while leaving the lips light yet moisturized. It’s the lip trifecta.

MAC Glamglass

There are eight Lip Pencil shade extensions and eleven shades of Glamglass. From everything that I’ve seen, these glosses are going to be revolutionary. I’m a gloss freak myself and I have been dying to get my hands on all the shades ever since 2010-2011 became “the year of the lip” (seriously, we can’t tell you how many lip products we’ve reviewed, loved and approved).

& of course, to be paired with the genius names and colors of the Glamglass collection ($14.50 each):

I have to say, it will be a real toss up this year choosing which lipgloss to toss into my purse: the L’Oreal Infallible Rouge, the CoverGirl Lipperfection or M.A.C.’s Glamglass. All of them are completely different (I’d use the Glamglass for really high impact, high wattage, almost red carpet shine— think the “Lady Gaga” effect) and the rest for office to evening.

Boy, this is a scorcher of a collection. We expect lines the evening of July 27th.
