24 Jul Fall 2014 Review, Swatches: Too Faced Cosmetics Marie Osmond Inspired Country And Rock N Roll EyeShadow Palettes
When I heard Too Faced Cosmetics was collaborating with none other than MARIE OSMOND, I was absolutely thrilled! As a child of the ’70s, I watched her show every week with her brother Donny. I was obsessed with her different hairstyles and makeup — and now, I can be just like her!
This Fall 2014 collection brings to life Marie‘s Country AND Rocker style! And if I still had her doll (yes, at 41), I would still be playing with it! Luckily our pal Jerrod Blandino has made it okay to play like I did when I was 6, just with makeup now!
Now, the Country Palette has gorgeous shades to bring out your softer side. Three hi-lite shades and 6 deeply pigmented, easily blendable shades bring out your inner songstress.
The shades are colorful, yet wearable for everyone. The highlight shades are: Cowboy Take Me Away (a pinky nude), Famous In A Small Town (a pearly nude) and All American Girl (a soft, silvery shade).
The lid shades are: Y’all (soft gold), Paper Roses (a golden pink), Nashville (a steely gray silver), Dolly (a warm brown), Rhinestone (a glittery yet wearable lavender) and Blue Bird (a gorgeous sapphire).
For the Rock N Roll Palette, the intensity is amped up to 11! Whether you are a rock n roller or a punk rocker, you need this palette!
Highlight shades include: Rockabilly (a matte, nude pink), New Wave (a wearable pink, glittery nude) and New Romantic (a warm, pearly nude).
Lid shades are: Rap (pearlized gold), Pop (pearlized plum), Glam Rock (pearly taupe), Ska (pearlized taupe), Heavy Metal (a soft purple infused with pink glitter) and Punk (a deep, pearly emerald).
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick, Bonjour Soleil Bronzing Wardrobe, Natural Eyes, Brow Envy, A La Mode Eyes Summer 2014 Collection
I brought these 2 palettes with me on vacation, and they survived the muggy ocean air and the high temperatures. NO CREASING LADIES! The possibilities are endless with these palettes. There are glamour guides to help you if you’re totally lost, but don’t fret. There is no wrong way to wear these shadows. Run out and grab these while you can. At $36.00 a palette, they are worth the investment!
