I was recently given the Volaire 90 Day System to try. I had a little trepidation to try it at first as I had used different hair systems and never really liked them very much. This one consisted of four products: a shampoo, a conditioner, a texturizing spray, and a volumizing mist. I tried the system for a few weeks and I have to admit, I really liked it! It definitely worked well with my hair and gave it added volume while making it look much healthier than it had in months!
All of the products are sulfate free, paraben free, and color safe. They also have not been tested on animals and the formulas are vegan. Lastly, they feature Airweight Technology, which gives fine hair lift, bounce, and volume.
Weightless Moisturizing Shampoo | $18.00
The shampoo came in a lightweight mousse format and was so easy to work into the hair. Some of the key ingredients include kelp, algae extract, coconut-derived surfactants, chamomile extract, and yarrow extract. It smells terrific. It was easy to use as I pumped a small dollop into my hand, rubbed it into my hands, and worked it into my hair. It made a nice lather and was easy to rinse out. It felt light and airy.
Weightless Fortifying Conditioner | $20.00
The conditioner is a regular thick liquid formula that lathers nicely in the hair. It smells great and works best when distributed from the tip of your hair to the roots. Make sure to rinse it out thoroughly. It also can be used as a mask if you leave it on your hair for 5-10 minutes before rinsing. The conditioner’s ingredients include kelp, algae extract, oat protein, and panthenol.
Air Magic Texturizing Spray | $ 20.00
This spray is used after shampooing and conditioning hair with Volaire. When hair is damp, spray it onto hair and then style as usual. It works to make your style look even healthier and bigger. Ingredients include kelp, algae extract, zeolite, and sunflower seed extract.
Uplift Volumizing Mist | $12.00
Last but not least, after drying hair into the style that you like, lift hair into individual sections and spray some of the volumizing mist underneath, starting with the root and working down to the tips. Use your fingers to add volume and texture. Spray all over hair to finish your look. You can also use this spray to freshen hair late in the day or the next day, so you can revitalize your style without washing it again.
