Redken is one of the most well-known hair care brands and for very obvious reasons! Redken products are awesome and they do wonderful things for your hair. I was able to test out some new products from the Redken All Soft Mega Line and I’ve got nothing but good things to say about them. These products are definitely affordable so you’ll be able to achieve super soft, sleek hair without breaking the bank.

Redken All Soft Mega Shampoo & Conditioner | $16 (Shampoo), $17 (Conditioner)

The All Soft Mega Shampoo and Conditioner gently cleanse while providing intense nourishment and softness to severely dry, medium to thick hair. This hydrating shampoo and conditioner replenishes, improves manageability, and leaves hair with a soft and shiny finish. Both the shampoo and conditioner are infused with a superfood nutri-complex of cactus extract, aloe vera, and Sacha Inchi Oil to hydrate, strengthen, and to lock in moisture all day long.

I love this duo. The smell is amazing and the conditioner really works to help detangle your locks. My hair is very long (nearly down to my waistline) but is also on the drier side. It’s not overly processed due to hair coloring or anything like that but my hair has always been slightly drier. These two products along provide a nice bit of moisture to my hair and keep it looking soft and sleek throughout the day. I’ve also noticed that it helps with frizz too. Definitely an amazing duo of products and for the price, I will certainly be purchasing more when I run out.

Redken All Soft Mega Recovery Tissue Mask Cap | $8

This mask cap is a weekly, one-time use hair mask that leaves hair with added moisture and manageability. This at-home treatment, inspired by K-beauty, nourishes and leaves hair with a soft and shiny finish. The mask cap is also infused with a superfood nutri-complex of cactus extract, aloe vera, and Sacha Inchi Oil to hydrate, strengthen, and to lock in moisture all day.

Redken recommends before getting in the shower, to open the packet and remove the paper adhesive seal. After shampooing, twist and wrap hair fully into the cap. Fasten with adhesive strip ensuring that the cap is properly sized and secured. Gently massage the cap to best transfer the product and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Remove the cap and rinse. Redken also recommends to follow with the Hydramelt (see below). This was the first time I had ever used a mask cap and I liked the results. It’s definitely on par with the other products in this line and I think if you need this sort of deep moisturizing treatment once a week, this product is great. The sheet mask is only $8 so it’s rather budget friendly also.

Redken All Soft Mega Hydramelt Leave-In Treatment | $19

This leave-in treatment nourishes and improves manageability of several dry, medium to thick hair. The treatment provides increase control, eases blow drying, and leaves hair with a soft and shiny finish. The treatment is also infused with a superfood nutri-complex of cactus extract, aloe vera, and Sacha Inchi Oil to hydrate, strengthen, and lock in moisture all day long.

This product has the same great scent as the others. Redken recommends applying it to wet hair prior to heat styling or air-drying and to leave it in and style as usual, so that’s what I did. You really only need a small amount of this product. At first, I applied a little too much (though my hair still looked amazing) and it got a little tacky during blow-drying. However, when you apply a minimal amount of it in your hair, it really cuts down on the blow drying time, aids in resisting frizz, and leaves the most gorgeous shine and softness on your hair.

Redken All Soft Mega Mega Mask | $29

This mask provides intense nourishment and moisture to severely dry, medium to thick hair. The mask features a dual formula that combines the deep conditioning of a mask with the lasting benefits of a care extender. The mask is also infused with a superfood nutri-complex of cactus extract, aloe vera, and Sachi Inchi Oil to hydrate, strengthen, and provide moisture that lasts through three washes.

I wanted to save the best product for last and this one has stolen my heart (though I do love them all). Redken recommends to use this product every 3rd wash or whenever intense nourishment is treatment. They recommend to use the All Soft Mega Shampoo, and then apply the mask to towel-dried hair, leave it on for 3-5 minutes, and then rinse it off. It works wonderful in that way but I also love using the All Soft Conditioner after the Shampoo, and then applying the mask, and then rinsing it out. It packs a huge punch of moisture and leaves your hair smelling fabulous. Using it every 3rd wash for me would mean using it about once a week but I find that it makes my hair feel so nice, I want to use it every time I wash my hair!

Overall, I think all of these products are amazing steals, especially for the price and effectiveness of the products. My hair feels super soft, looks shiny, and smells amazing. I’ve fallen in love with this line from Redken and I think I’ll be using this over my preferred regular shampoo and conditioner. The Mega Mask is probably my favorite out of the bunch, but I really do think that all of these products are great. They work well cohesively to help attack severely dry hair. If you’ve got medium to thick hair that’s slightly on the drier side, I think these products will be your savior!
