We’ve heard all about WEN by Chaz Dean and their alternative hair system but is all that hype really all it’s cracked up to be? I was able to test out some new products by WEN and I’ll be sharing those with you today!

The WEN Fall Apple Spice Cleansing Conditioner ($40) is a 5-in-1 formula. It takes the place of your shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, and leave-in conditioner. It cleanses hair thoroughly without lather or harsh sulfates found in some ordinary shampoos. It won’t strip your hair of its natural oils, either. The fall apple spice scent leaves your hair selling like autumn for DAYS – even if you washed with a different shampoo after. The experience is quite different than with regular shampoo. There are no sulfites so there is no lather.

To use this product, simply apply it into the palms of your hands and rub together. Use 10-16 pumps for short hair, 16-24 pumps for medium length hair, and 24-32 pumps for long hair. If your hair is longer/thicker, you may need to increase the amount of pumps. Apply to the scalp and hair, adding a splash of water to evenly distribute. Massage thoroughly into your hair and leave on for the remainder of your shower. Rinse thoroughly and completely, massaging the scalp and running fingers through to the ends. After you have finished rinsing, while your hair is still wet, you can apply a small amount of the Cleansing Conditioner to the ends of your hair as a leave-in conditioner. Though this product does take some getting used to, my hair was left feeling hydrated, smooth, and clean.

The WEN Fall Tuscan Pear Nourishing Mousse ($45) is designed to add volume, body, and shine to all hair types. From short hair to long, WEN Nourishing Mousse will give you lightweight hold without the sticky residue of traditional styling products. Apply 3-4 pumps on soaking wet hair before styling. The mousse is light but dense so a little goes a long way. It won’t leave your hair feeling crunchy but rather adds volume and bounce!

The WEN Fall Vanilla White Pumpkin Styling Creme ($30) combines the benefits of a heat protectant, frizz fighter, and shine booster while providing lightweight, soft, touchable hold to all hair types and textures. The delicious scent, which smells more like vanilla than pumpkin, is silky smooth and hydrates hair without weighing it down.

After cleansing, simply apply the appropriate amount for your hair length from the mid-shaft to the ends of soaking wet hair. Smooth any remaining product over the crown. Style as desire. You can also add this product to dry hair to add polish after a long day.

The WEN Fall Vanilla White Pumpkin Replenishing Treatment Mist ($40) is a unique blend of restorative botanicals and extracts to give your hair, face, and body an instant pick-me-up. Mist the mid-shaft and ends of wet hair with the WEN Replenishing Treatment Mist. Rake and twist your fingers through your hair until the spray has been completely absorbed. You may also mist on dry/styled hair to add extra moisture and hydration throughout the day. Your hair is enveloped with a delicious vanilla scent that is sure to get you noticed every time you walk by!
