Review: Jonathan Product Beauty Water Shower Purification System

You’ve probably spent hundreds of dollars on new haircare products with the hopes of getting advertisement-quality hair. Ditto for skincare.

But have you thought about the gunk that goes in your water? All that chlorine, iron and unnecessary minerals that make your skin itch and your hair involuntarily brittle?

I had not really heard about the Jonathan Product Beauty Water Shower Purification System until recently, although it’s been around for a few years. Created by celebrity stylist Jonathan Antim, this showerhead takes chemical-ridden water and filters it so it turns into natural spring water quality.

It’s a beauty Brita, a purifying shower head with adjustable pressure settings (choose from a light Spray to a heavier Massage setting). There is a sleek water filter attached t0 the showerhead that you’ll need to change every six months.

Review, Jonathan Product, Water Shower, Purification System

Before I got the Water Shower Purification System, my skin was always itchy. I would have red blotchy spots everywhere since I’m ultra sensitive to basically any chemical out there, and for a long time I thought I’d just have to “deal with it.”

Well, no more. After I hooked this system to my shower, my hives and red blotchy spots completely disappeared. It was a testament to the fact that the city water does an astounding amount of damage to skin! Think of what chemicals might be doing to your hair?

Since this Purification System retails for $95, it’s not pocket change, of course, but it might be the best beauty dollars you’ll ever spend. Chlorine, heavy metals and chemicals remove natural protective oils from your hair and skin, and this will leave you with a dry, itchy sensation. They also accelerate the fading of your hair color.

In short, you don’t want to be bathing in any of that. Ever since I started using the Shower Purification System, I’ve found my skin is less dry, and I need less body moisturizer. My hair feels lot softer, a lot less brittle.

It’s like bathing in Evian, so girls, why not give it a whirl? If you already have, tell us how you like it in the comments section below.
