24 Apr Review, Before/After Photos: JRS Superstar Professional Turbo Ionic Infrared Blow Dryer – Eco-Friendly And Faster Hair Dry Time
Do you remember watching the Jetsons as a kid? I loved the fact that Judy and Jane Jetson would go under a bubble and seconds later their hair would be done. Beautifully coifed, styled, with no effort. This has always been a dream of mine, which I can only imagine is every sane woman in the world’s dream as well. Well, I don’t believe anyone has discovered this technology yet, but I have to tell you: Janine & Adam Shuman have come pretty (damn) close.
I recently tested their eco-friendly JRS Superstar Professional Turbo Ionic Infrared Blow Dryer ($159.00)and I have to say I was pretty much blown away (no pun intended). I received the box in the mail & it weighed absolutely nothing (in space, everything is weightless, hmmm). I almost thought they had forgotten to ship the product. Blow dryers are generally on the heavier side, but this weighed practically nothing.
The blow dryer is the quietest dryer I have ever used. There is a 4-step switch which includes STOP, COOL, LOW HEAT, HIGH HEAT and a bonus COOL shot button that generates a refreshing shot of cold air. It also keeps with the space age theme by touting a red infrared light around the dryer that lights up, which makes for a great look.
It claims to dry hair 50% faster while stimulating hair growth. I can’t comment on the hair growth, but I will say my hair was dry in record speed. It took me about 10 minutes to dry my hair. This is 10 minutes quicker than it usually takes me. It promises to eliminate static and frizz, leaving hair silky smooth. My hair did look perfect. I did not even have to use my straightening iron after my blowout. Last but not least, the dryer is said to have a long life with a 1200 hour motor.
This is hands down my favorite product to date. The fact that it is good for the environment adds to my jubilant attitude towards this product.
