Summer is over, and boy did it fly by! As I adjust to the changing seasons, I need to concentrate on my winter hair. Although I love summer, I do welcome the winter weather for the ease of doing my hair. Goodbye humidity, hello straight, thick luscious locks! The other big benefit is not washing my hair every single day.
I have been wishing that someone would come up with a dry shampoo that is good for the hair and actually works to make my hair look and feel clean. Aveeno, I believe, has accomplished this.
I just tried NEW Aveeno Pure Renewal Dry Shampoo ($7.99). This product definitely does the job. All you do is shake the can before you spray, hold 8-10 inches away from your head and spray evenly throughout hair, concentrating on the roots. It is easy, quick and effective.

Also, some added bonuses with this dry shampoo is that it features seaweed extract, which cleanses hair without over-drying or over-moisturizing. It is also sulfate-free and especially designed to remove impurities and/or excess oils to help boost volume.
I have tried a lot of dry shampoos: powders, sprays, etc. and none of them seem to accomplish the job. For a dry shampoo to be effective your hair has to look and feel clean. After use, my hair smelled great, looked great and felt very clean. Aveeno’s product has hit the nail on the head. It has replaced washing my hair every day, but allows me to still look good, feeling fresh and clean!
