L’Oréal Paris Celebrity Hairstylist, Mara Roszak worked with Kate Mara in prep for the premiere of Fantastic Four.
“This look was inspired by her Valentino black leather dress and the new pixie haircut that I gave Kate. We decided to go for a slight 90’s inspiration with texture and pieciness.”
Below, Roszak gives us expert tips on how you can get the look!
Step 1: To begin, on Kate’s damp hair, I applied L’Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Volume Inject Mousse ($4.99) and rough dried into her hair.
Step 2: Using my GHD 1/2″ flat iron, I took random sections of the hair and gently curved the flat iron giving it slight body at the crown and hairline.
Step 3: I then applied L’Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Txt It Hyper-Fix Putty ($4.99) to my fingertips and pieced out sections creating dimension and separation.
Step 4: To finish off the look, I sprayed L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Nutri-Gloss High Shine Glossing Mist ($6.99) for added shine and L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray ($14.99) all over to hold the look.
