01 Aug Before/After Photos, Review: Dove Advanced Hair Series Pure Care Shampoo, Conditioner, Dry Oil, Oxygen Moisture Collections
My family has trusted the Dove brand for as far back as I can remember. My mom always had a closet full of the pink boxed Dove soaps. So you can say that I’ve used Dove my whole life.
Once I heard about the new hair collections, I was sold! I tested out the Dove Advanced Hair Series Pure Care Dry Oil Collection & Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture Collection.
Since my hair has been very dry and brittle as of late, I used the Pure Care Dry Oil Collection first in hopes that it would make my hair look healthier and more vibrant, without making it look oily. There are 4 pieces in the collection: Shampoo, Conditioner, Nourishing Treatment with African Macadamia Oil and Restorative Treatment with Anatolian Pomegranate Seed Oil.

I liked everything about this collection, including the very sleek and expensive-looking packaging. The shampoo and conditioner worked up a great lather with a very pleasant. Both oil treatments made my hair feel very silky, smooth and renewed. Dry Oil technology is used to absorb deep into hair, leaving it sublimely silky, not greasy or weighed down.
I then tried the Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, Oxygen Moisture Leave In Foam and Oxygen Moisture Root Lift Spray. This line was made for women with fine hair. I do not fit in this category, but I tried it anyway to see what it was like. All in all, the products worked well with oxygen-fused conditioning ingredients that give 95% more volume! My hair definitely looked bouncier, as if it had more body after using the whole product line. I’m sure it would work well on someone with thinner, finer hair than mine. Dove has come through again!
