Review, Swatches: PIDA Exfoliating Gel: How To Best Exfoliate Your Skin Without Harsh Granules That Cause Irritation

PIDA is a clear, mild exfoliating gel that is said to provide “…soft, silky, smooth skin on both the face and body.” PIDA contains aloe extract and orange oil, two essential ingredients that help to exfoliate the skin without any harsh irritation.

Ever wonder how often you should exfoliate your face and body? Too often can cause breakouts! Find out how much is too much from Heidi Gilchrist MD, board certified dermatologist. See what she had to say —> HERE!

According to the literature, PIDA removes dead skin cells that cause dull, rough skin and helps facilitate the cells’ natural turnover, making way for new cells on skin’s outer surface.

Once dullness and rough patches have been removed, the skin absorbs moisture more easily and is more youthful in its feel and appearance. The ingredients are:

• Aloe Vera Extract — Helps maintain healthy-looking skin

• Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate — Water soluble type of vitamin C; anti-oxidant

• Orange Oil — essential oil extract

I tried this product on both face and body. It is meant to be used on dry skin, massaged gently and then rinsed clean. I liked the light, fresh scent and was intrigued by the texture — nothing grainy or coarse at all.

Instead, it felt like I was using bits of lemon or orange to tone my skin. Afterwards, my face felt smooth and clean, but not at all dry. And I really liked the feel of it on my body; I used it lavishly during a post-gym shower and felt like I had gone to a pricey spa — very invigorating yet gentle, too.

At $54.00, it is not cheap. But it is a fun and worthwhile splurge. For more info go to www.ecure-treatment.com to find a salon near you.

Do you beauties exfoliate using a gel formula like the one from PIDA? Or are you fans of the grainy bits?
