Review, Swatches, Photos: L’Oréal Magic Smooth Soufflé Blush

I don’t’ know about you girls, but I am always searching for a blush to give me that perfect runway-model-who-just-got-back-from-an-exotic-holiday look! Well, with the L’Oréal Magic Smooth Soufflé Blush, I can now capture my inner globe-trotting model look with just one swipe to the cheek.

I have always been jealous of those with dry skin (I know, right?), because they could wear cream blush without having to worry about additional oil slicks on the face. I haven’t been able to indulge in any cream type blush formulas, mostly due to my large pores and combo skin. With that said, I was so surprised when I tried this product (swatched below and shown in Celestial and Plume; retailing at around $12.95). It went on smooth, didn’t accentuate my pores and I looked like Heidi Klum in a Michael Kors ad. Okay, well maybe not exactly like Heidi Klum, but you get the idea.

What makes this blush so different from others on the market is the Mati-Crystal Technology (first introduced in the Magic Smooth Soufflé makeup). Okay, I know you are all wondering just what is this Mati-Crystal Technology? It eliminates the traditional heavy opacity for a more translucent effect, allowing skin’s natural color to be enhanced.

I am in love with this product. If you have read my other posts, you know I am very into packaging. And L’Oréal doesn’t disappoint with their elegant design. Just a little bit goes a long way with this product. I take my ring finger and just lightly touch the blush and that is enough for each cheek. I was amazed how easily the blush blended. It seemed to make my pores invisible. I wouldn’t call this product a primer, however, my cheeks did look flawless. Go out and get this blush NOW!!

Comes in four colors:

Celestial – Pink (swatched)
Cherubic – Rose
Angelic – Coral
Plume – Mauve (swatched)
