When I first saw the CND The Look Fall/Winter 2011 box, I thought it was a sari from India. The packaging looked so glamorous, so exotic and the gold foil dual tone designs was exquisitely done. Like a fine box of chocolates, I was almost reluctant to open the box.
The Fall/Winter 2011 collection contains two rich polishes, one in Midnight Sapphire, which is a deep, dark blue , almost a navy; and the other a Dark Amethyst Color that is a deep wine colored number. The thrill of course, is to mix and match the two nail lacquers with a very special gold bottle included in the set, the Sheer 24K Sparkle EFFECT.
This is a Limited Edition Collection, and based on the wear below and the look itself, my recommendation is for you to go out there and get your paws on one before it sells out. The purpose of the set is to create a jewel-toned manicure, and the result is a gorgeous, not over the top but elegant glam set of nails.
