L’Oréal Skin Expert Paris introduces Hydra Genius, $17.99, has been formulated to offer the most lightweight hydration possible. These moisturizers (I was sent Normal/Dry Skin as well as one for Normal/Oily Skin) are said to be like a “boost” of water for skin, delivering instant hydration that lasts 72 hours. Both formulas contain aloe water and hyaluronic acid to ensure “instant and continuous hydration.”
I tried both of the formulas, morning and evening, for one week each. The pros were many: the product went on smoothly, absorbed quickly, had a light, fresh scent and was not greasy at all. This is a great warm weather moisturizer for days when you want to feel supple and smooth but don’t want a product that is too heavy or rich. The product does not contain any SPF, so you will need to use added sun protection.
