The new La Prairie Anti-Aging Rapid Response Booster, $290.00, is a light-weight liquid gel serum that targets wrinkles with the use of peptides. Skin is “plumped, further reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles” while the booster “aids with hydration and reinforces barrier protection.” Some of the key ingredients include plankton extracts, and nature-derived neuro calming peptides.
In the course of two weeks, the booster will help achieve noticeable results, diminishing the depth and length of wrinkles. After reading the claims, naturally I was eager to put this product to the test.
I used the serum twice daily as directed, applying it morning and evening prior to using any other products or cosmetics on my face. Though I am skeptical about the claims by anti-aging products, I was happily surprised by this one.
First, I loved how completely weightless it felt; the product disappeared into my skin immediately. And even after the first use, I noticed how smooth and fresh my skin looked and felt. After two weeks, I did in fact see that the appearance of lines around my mouth had softened and reduced. Since this product is not to be used around the eyes, I did not see any result in those areas. There is, however, a La Prairie product dedicated for use around the delicate eye area. Although the product is a little pricey, with the results that I received, I believe it is worth it.
