I love seeing a two-sided product! To me, it means the epitome of a product that is multifunctional. This was the case when sampling the new Dior Twin Set Eyeshadow Duo ($30.00 each) that was recently launched as part of their Chérie Bow Spring 2013 Collection.

One side is to be applied to the entire lid, the other side can highlight and transform the look by adding both texture and shine. New to this line are Beige Ribbon, Ballerina Pink and Grey Sigh.

I used the creamy colors alone for a daytime look (in the lighter shades) and amped them up with the iridescent setting powder at night. So many different looks can be accomplished, as well as being blendable, too.
The darker colors added a nighttime look on my softer creamy colors, when I needed to look a bit more party-like and dramatic.
The idea of the twin set product was inspired by backstage makeup artists that applied a rich shade and would then set it with powder for a longer lasting look. Just dreamy.
