Last night’s 2012 American Music Awards was full of some of today’s music hottest stars — but let’s not forget about some of those amazing hair and makeup looks as well! From Nicki Minaj to Taylor Swift, the makeup at the AMAs all had a common trend: smokey eyes. While the hair looks ranged either from long, flowing locks to distinguished looking updos. Read on to check out some of your favorite stars’ makeup looks from last night.
Ke$ha
Ke$ha rocked on smokey tribal eye look. Winged-out eyeliner added to the ferocious look with plenty of dark brown shadow.
Gwen Stefani looked super sweet and polished with her signature red lips, dark lined eyes and a break from her usual top knot!
Nicki Minaj had a hair-raising night! No one rocks a pink pout like Nicki!
Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift left her red lipstick at home, going for a clean makeup look with smokey eyes and a neutral lip for the evening.
Pink
COVERGIRL spokesperson Pink really got into her “Try” performance by sporting some body paint all over herself.
Kelly Clarkson (also pictured above) belted out another great performance wearing some glittery, shimmer grey shadow to complete her smokey eye look.
