BeautyStat.com In October 2013 Self Magazine: Do Mascaras With Lash Growth-Boosting Ingredients Really Work?

BeautyStat‘s founder (and cosmetic chemist) Ron Robinson has been featured in the October 2013 issue of Self Magazine to give us the lowdown on growth-boosting mascaras!

Self’s Beauty Director Elaine D’Farley explained that although they won’t magically give you “gonzo” lashes, like the popular Latisse (which runs for $120.00 a kit and has an FDA-approved formula not found in your local drugstore lash growth mascaras), they do have some benefits. Ron added:

“Even though lash-enhancing mascaras don’t have the same growth booster, they’re infused with ingredients that prevent breakage and help lashes look longer and more lush over a few months.”

Quick Tip: Apply your mascara at the base of the lashes so the ingredients can penetrate.
