It’s all about intense shine and metallic hues this Fall 2011 at the house of Chanel.
Your eyes will sizzle in the Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow. The new gel texture allows this formula to be worn as either a shadow or eyeliner, so you can scintillate softly by day, and turn up the heat at night, by adding a dramatic sweep of color as a co-coordinating liner across lash line. There are six shades to choose from, Fantasme (white), Emerville (soft pink/ peach), Epatant (khaki), Illusoire (purple),Ebloui (a reddish-brown), and Mirfique (a smoky charcoal black). $36.
Nails will glitter in the moonlight with three new limited edition shades of Le Vernis Nail Color. Quartz, Graphite, and Peridot a rich green gold that is sure to ignite curiosity when you walk into the room (a must have). $25 each.
Cheeks are softly lit from within. Sweep on Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Ecrin. ($43). There is also a separate eye shadow quad in Prelude with sheer daytime shades of taupe, beige, taupe rose, and plum charcoal. Pair this with Le Crayyon Yeux in Khaki Plantine (a silver khaki) for a beautiful finished eye. $57 for shadow and $29 for liner.
