It’s not everyday one gets to have their current makeup look analyzed by a top makeup artist! So, I jumped at the opportunity to speak with celebrity makeup artist, Tia Dantzler. The hairstyles on the Fall / Winter 2011 runways ran the gamut, but the looks that stood out as the newest and most exciting were 60‘s styles that played with gender norms, from sculpted “bad boy” updos to flirty, feminine beehives. Yes, there were the usual beachy waves, messy buns, braids and ponytails, but the most exciting looks were super slick side-parts that looked modern and clean contrasted by ladylike confections that proved that classics never die.
