(Review) Pure Pitz To Test: Does a Purely Natural Deodorant Work?
What’s that, you say? A purely natural deodorant that WORKS? Ain’t no such thing.
I’m telling you that there is. Last week, I attended a Whole Foods Whole Body media event and had a chance to learn about the latest and greatest brands, including a purely natural deodorant called Pure Pitz.
I met the founder Lisa Wynne Salvatore, who handed me a sample saying, “try it.” I said, “yes, I’ve heard the drill about aluminum-free deos, and they just don’t work for me.” She told me not to judge until I tried Pure Pitz, and I was actually really eager to see if the deo lived up to her claims.
Here are the Certified Organic ingredients:
- Aluminum-Free Baking Soda;
- Pure Organic Essential Oils (these give it a subtle fragrance);
- BPA-Free Plastic Container
So, I put the deo to the test and actually went to the gym with it, aiming for a sweaty workout. And you know what, it lasted. I’m SERIOUS, it totally performed like the Everlasting Gobstopper: I was very impressed. Lisa says, “Pure Pitz is my latest creation. It is the clean answer to a malodorous dilemma — effectively neutralizing body odor.”
Lisa knows her stuff too. She was a certified Alternative Wellness Advocate for over 30 years, and she is committed to creating eco-friendly and sustainable products.Finally, a deodorant that fits into my natural lifestyle; I’m not crazy about the name of the product, but about the quality, I’m quite ecstatic.
Have you tried a natural deodorant? How did it work for you?
