Review, Photos: Borghese Acqua Ristorativo Immediato/Instant Eye Revitalizer - Reduces Puffy Undereye Circles

I’m forever waging war against undereye puffiness, so I was eager to try this new product from Borghese. Formulated with allanantoin (to heal and soothe), provitamin B5 (to restore and maintain natural skin moisture) as well as Borghese’s signature Acqua di Vita complex (to hydrate and energize), the Acqua Ristorativo Immediato Instant Eye Revitalizer ($45.00) is a product that promises to “moisturize, soothe and lift.”

A rolling metal ball makes for an easy and effective application. I found the formulation to be a bit juicier (for lack of a better word!) than other comparable products — I did have to wipe away a bit of the residue that had worked its way down my cheek.

But, I loved the easy gliding feel, and was pleased to see that the cooling formula did a nice job of reducing those dreaded, early morning puffies. The Instant Eye Revitalizer costs more than the competition, but I have to say that it seems superior. I’d splurge on this one, ladies — and cut corners somewhere else. [Editor's Note: The item will soon be available for purchase on www.borghese.com -- so stay tuned!]

Thanks for the review on Borgheses’ new anti puff roll on. I am, like you, always searching and searching for a new, better product than I’m already using. Right now, I’m kinda liking the Boscia Anti Puff roll on, it works both under and over makeup and it kind of does really work so I am recommending it. I would LOVE any samples as I am an amateur makeup artist and need any product I can get my hands on, also I am presently injured so I can’t work fulltime. I have had my eye on the YSL lip glosses ever since last summer and would be insanely happy to sample one of them. Just sayin !!
keep up the great work, i read your facebook entries nearly everyday.
