Now I can finally emulate a proper Asian skincare routine with the New Lancôme ÉNERGIE DE VIE Dullness Relief & Energy Recharge Daily Lotion ($50.00; sold exclusively at Sephora and Sephora.com). After cleansing and toning, this lotion is unlike its Western analog.

Chanel Sublimage — The Infinite Power of Regeneration — skincare collection addresses fine lines and wrinkles, as well as loss of elasticity and dullness for every skintone. Read our review of the collection —> HERE!

Before applying serum and cream, a light emulsion is used in most Asian skincare beauty rituals to rejuvenate and promote healthy-looking skin while diminishing signs of fatigue.

It’s texture is a cross between water and a diluted serum, but it feels oh-so-good on the skin! I like to use this in the morning to brighten my face up, clearing away any redness and dark spots.

In 1 week, skin looked visibly refined and healthier

In consumer self-assessments after 4 weeks of use:

- 78% of women felt their pores looked reduced
90% of women felt their skin looked more radiant

It hydrates and refreshes skin instantly with its three-root extracts: rhodiola root energizes; gentian contains antioxidant properties and wild yam nourishes skin.

Root extract in general holds an extraordinary reserve of life, and this product has been dermatologically tested on sensitive skin, so everyone can enjoy a more even-toned complexion.

It didn’t cause any irritation and smells so good — it has an earthy scent; it isn’t too woodsy, but most likely what root smells like.

I would definitely try this lotion! My face has been looking especially dull and I would love to see it brightened up and fresh looking again! I can’t wait to try it- I hope Sephora will have samples before I spend $55, but I love the fact that its okay for sensitive skin also. All in all, this seems like a great product to add to my routine!
