Bethenny Frankel’s Love Affair with Drugstore.com (plus a Giveaway)
Bethenny Frankel held court at the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel’s new R Lounge to introduce America to the convenience of Drugstore.com with her now-iconic wit. Drugstore.com retails so much more than prescription medicine; they sell hard-to-find shades of make-up and similarly scarce products that aren’t always found in each and every physical drug store.
Frankel’s must have beauty picks include Charmin Flushable Wipes, L’Oreal Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara and Boots Botanics Ultimate Lift Eye Gel.
The website takes expediency to a new level with its auto-delivery program, so America’s favorite working mother picked out her must-haves for motherhood. Frankel says she doesn’t like to leave her apartment if she doesn’t have to (a sentiment with which we can all empathize) so shopping at an online drugstore that has ten to fifteen times the selection of a physical one seems like a no-brainer.
You can get all your needs online, from the famously volatile Cookie gets her Kong toys, treats, and dog food , as well as the Hydrobowl. For her baby, Bryn, Frankel picks out Pampers diapers and the Smilac line, as she tells us Bryn is transitioning to formula. Perhaps because of her two reality series, in which Frankel comes off as a down-to-earth power woman with no fear of oversharing, the guests at the event aren’t too reserved. Frankel’s exfoliating gloves – they saved her husband from a bad sunburn once. He also likes her sunscreen wipes, which are always available at Drugstore.com. The wipes make a nice alternative to gloppy lotions that might stave off skin cancer but leave the wearer with a greasy, unhygienic feeling, but they’re thin on the ground at smaller drugstores. I just can’t live without babywipes & doggy treats. Bryn’s precious little tush gets muddy & Oy vey how it stinks. I use baby wipes & presto! Her little bum smells like a rose again! I also get doggy treats for Dabooboo aka Cookie. After all, she’s my baby too!
Okay, this doesn’t sound like a beauty product, but it is. I can’t live without Breathe Right Nasal Strips. I had allergies and when I don’t use the strips, I wake up looking like a monster. No amount of eye gel is going to fix that! I’m into prevention first! I do use eye gel, but I try to fend off the damage to make the eye gel work a little better.
