You asked, we listened. Dermatologist, Dr. Dennis Gross of DG Skincare is our expert of the week! We fell in love with Dr. Gross’ skincare products from hello. Now, it’s your turn to ask the pro!

Dr. Dennis Gross is our resident beauty expert for the week, and he is on tap to answer your most burning skincare questions for your chance to score one of the brand new sunscreens from DG Skincare.

What do you have to do to win? It’s as simple as riding a bike (or using sunscreen!):

1. Post your question to our Facebook page so everyone can view the answer. There is a limit of one question per person, per day for the next five days (no cheating :) )

2. Winners will be chosen at random and announced in the Comments section of this post, daily. So make sure you check back to see if you’ve won.

3. Make sure you spread the word and the giveaway love! Tell your friends and family and make them a fan of BeautyStat on Facebook.

Good luck! With the sun coming out and dancing during the summer months, we’ll all need to benefit from some good, solid SPF love. And how often do you get to pick the brain of a well-known derm AND possibly snag some sunscreen, right? So ask, share and score! You’re welcome! ;)

My face is rarely dry, except for my nose. it constantly looks like a peeling sunburn. I put on a moisturizer on almost every morning but it never works. What do you recommend?

I saw my face under a woods lamp about a year ago, quite an awakening. I have very fair skin that freckles and damages easily. My question is will using a SPF higher than 15 or 20, for example, as high as 55 or 70, help better decrease my chances for more sun damage.

I have very delicate skin on my hands, and often notice freckles and agespots from the sun. We always think about applying sunscreen to our faces and body, but is there a good product out there such as a hand lotion that contains sunscreen for your hands?

I have rhumatoid arthritis and the medications that I take say that I need to stay out of the suns rays and totally away from tanning in any way. What can I do to get my skin to appear more of an even tone that a little sun glow can give you still be safe with my health issues? Thanks

How Do I keep my skin from looking so oily in the summer time. Especially with makeup on. It seems like even blotting doesnt work because it just takes off the makeup

I have a huge discoloration on the right side of my neck from an airbag that was deployed in an accident and a slight scar from the seatbelt. I can hide it cosmetically with dermablend products but is there anything I can do to get rid of it so that is doesn’t look so bad when I am not wearing makeup or I don’t have to wear so much makeup?
