Read all about it! BeautyStat‘s very own Ron Robinson is featured in Allure Magazine‘s October issue! The Allure staff got together its A-Team of cosmetic advisors to give their readership the lowdown on some of the year’s most innovative and “revolutionary” products in the categories of skincare, cosmetic and hair for their ‘The Big Breakthroughs’ piece. Read on to see which two products Ron talks about, and why they deserve recognition!
Talking about Olay‘s Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo for Medium to Coarse Hair in ‘What An Expert Says’:
“When Olay first launched their facial depilatory with a skin-guarding balm, they addressed one of the biggest problems with hair-removal creams — that they can be highly irritating,” says cosmetic chemist Ron Robinson. “And by boosting the hair-removal ingredients in the cream, they’ve created a product that doesn’t just remove every unwanted hair, it even leaves skin soft and well hydrated.” Allure Magazine, October Page 176
“The pigment really addresses a major complaint with self-tanner — that regardless of how carefully some women apply it, their skin still develops an orange shade,” Robinson says. “I asked the fairest person in our lab to test it, as she has never had a good result from self-tanner. She loved it — her skin had a very dark, even tan.” Allure Magazine, October Page 184
