Makeup Trends: Daniella Kallmeyer Spring Summer 2011 Fashion Week

Daniella Kallmeyer (1st runner up of Bravo TV’s The Fashion Show last season) created the Poor Little Rich Girl Collection for her Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Week show, but Orlando Santiago, the lead make-up artist for the show, gave the model’s faces just the right amount of punchy color with his parallel concept of “South of France Pretty Little Rich Girl.”

Highlights from The Makeup Show New York, 2010

Each year, the Makeup Show in New York brings together the best and brightest of makeup artists and makeup products under one terrific roof. This year, the quality of the participants was beyond stellar, with brands that included Mac Pro, Temptu, Alison Raffaele Cosmetics, Mehron, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and Makeup Forever.

One of the interesting products I saw at the Makeup Show was the new HD Exilir from Makeup For Ever that’s not even on the market yet (it launches this Fall).

The Elixir is basically a hydrating serum that increases moisture in the skin by up to 528%. You can also use it as a primer and you need just a smidgen of it to make it do its Willy Wonka-esque magic.
