Review, Swatches Photos: L’Oréal Infallible 24hr Eye Shadow
BANG! WOWZA! If you want a PUNCH of color, then you must go and get the new L’Oréal Infallible 24hr Eye Shadow (retailing at about $7.95). I must say I was skeptical to try it because I’ll admit I’m not the biggest fan of cream shadows; they usually are hard to blend, don’t last, and crease on my eyelid after an hour. However, I was AMAZED at how this product exceeded my expectations!
The texture is velvety smooth, and glided on my eyelid with ease. It was extremely easy to blend and the pigment was amazing, unlike the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadows, which I found myself layering, and layering and layering to get a decent amount of color. But with this product, one swipe of color was all it took, and I had the most gorgeous amethyst eyes! The blending ability is superb!
I had a day jam-packed with events, running in and out of subways, and the shadow didn’t budge until I took it off late at night! I also used it as an eyeshadow base as the powder shadow I used on top layered seamlessly for a more dramatic look.
I can’t stop raving about this product! A definite must have for spring. It comes in 12 shades (swatched photos show shadows in Golden Sage, Eternal Sunshine, Iced Latte, Sultry Smoke and Perpetual Purple) from pearl to a dark grey.
