(Review & Swatches) M.A.C. Introduces New Viva Glam 2 Lipstick and Lipglass
M.A.C. has now ensured that the Viva Glam and Lady Gaga will be permanently part of their collection, now through February 2012.
Remember the earlier launch of the Lady Gaga Viva Glam lipglass? That bubblegum pink lipglass was a winner for women of the paler, Scottish/Irish complexion variety, but a little bit of a conflict when it came to women with darker complexions.
The new limited edition lipglass and lipstick will ensure that every cent of the sale will go towards the M.A.C. AIDS Fund. The Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipstick is a light, warm beige (amplified) and has a retail price of $14.50. The Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipglass is a light neutral pink beige with a retail price of $14.50.
They both are available now at M.A.C. counters worldwide and online.
M.A.C.’s new Viva Glam 2 Lipstick and Lipglass
The new Lady Gaga Viva Glam 2 lipstick and lipglass have a beige/nude color that has a creamy texture to it. To be honest, this is a very hard shade for dark-skinned women to wear. I feel it’s a shade best suited for the smooth as alabaster, Lady Gaga complexions of the world.
The lipstick and lipglass shades remind me of M.A.C.’s older Warm & Cozy collection that oozes with nude shades. Take a look:
Lipsticks from M.A.C.’s “Warm & Cozy” collection in “Spiced Tea,” Warm me Up,” and “Siss”
M.A.C.’s “Warm & Cozy” lipglass collection in “2N,” “Feeling Dreamy,”Light That Fire,” and “3N”
How do you feel about these two shades, ladies? Could you pull them off?

I think Gaga’s new Viva GLam colors look terrific. Mine should arrive at my door tomorrow. I can never have enough nude colors. Always fun to play with especially if they are MAC. And really, how different can you make any color. Go back far enough in time and you will find the same colors over and over again just with different names.
Beautiful. I LOVE MAC products and would love to be able to try more!!! Debby Stacey
I think the color may be dupable but I still want it! All the proceeds go to a great cause and that’s worth it! Thanks
