Review, Swatches: Dior Diorskin Nude Skin-Glowing Makeup SPF 15
Introducing the new Diorskin Nude Skin-Glowing Makeup SPF 15 ($48.00), a liquid foundation that creates a “bare skin” effect for a truly radiant complexion. It’s like velvet on your skin and has a delightfully soft scent to it as well. By closely studying the skin’s components, the scientists at the Dior laboratory have managed to create a foundation formula that boosts the skin’s radiance. This new formula features ingredients that have a glowing effect in any light.
There are transparent pigments making your skin look more like your skin, only more even toned and not opaque or cakey. It’s soft-to-the-touch and supple; has beneficial water that combines the virtues of mineralized water with a new floral water, hence the slight scent of what I imagine to be roses — it’s actually hibiscus blended with such minerals as magnesium copper and zinc. Day after day, this beauty water is at the heart of what makes the formula different. It cares for and acts upon the skin making your complexion more radiant. To me, you get flawless yet natural looking skin!
Sixteen shades of the foundation have been created to match your skin tone with the utmost accuracy. Sampled is Light Beige 020 and the others available are Ivory #010, Crème #011, Linen #021, Cameo #022, Peach #023, Medium Beige #030, Sand #031, Rosy Beige #032, Apricot Beige #33, Honey Beige #040, Ochre #041, Dark Beige #050, Mocha #060, Amber #063 and Dark Brown #070. Available at Dior counters Fall 2012 and well as online at www.dior.com.
