Review, Photos, Swatches: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
BB creams are the hottest skin care items on the market these days. Every company is jumping on the bandwagon and producing their own. But, how many are worth purchasing? I’m about to make a confession here: I never really liked Maybelline products growing up, or as an adult. However, being a writer and getting to try these products I have to say, Maybelline is at the top of their game! That being said, I’m going to now tell you about their newest (and my favorite) product, Dream Fresh BB Cream ($8.99)!
BB creams were developed in the 1960s by German dermatologists for post trauma soothing. They caught on in Korea and have been a hot item for decades. Why, oh why hasn’t this product come to America sooner!! Well, my friends, it has been worth the wait. Maybelline has done it again with a top notch product that is not only lightweight, but gives excellent coverage and looks as if you have nothing on your skin at all.
As I am nearing the age of thirty-nine (next Tuesday in fact) I no longer want to wear heavy duty foundation. I still have blemishes but also desire a soft focus, hydrated effect. Dream Fresh BB Cream delivers! It’s completely oil-free and is 70% water. Can’t get more natural and healthy than that! Dream Fresh BB Cream is an 8-in-1 product and does the following :
- Blurs imperfections
- Evens skin tone
- Smooths out skin’s surface
- Protects with SPF 30
- 0% oil in the product
- Enhances skin tone
- 70% water will hydrate skin
The BB cream comes in five shades from light to medium and medium to deep, and is available at mass retailers nationwide.
So, tell me… Do you want glowing, youthful skin?
