For all you Mad Men fans out there, Estée Lauder has created two luxurious-looking, retro pieces inspired by the look and formulation of cosmetics from the ’60s. Don Draper would definitely approve!
Introducing the Mad Men Collection EXCLUSIVELY at Bloomingdale’s and launching in March. A bold red lipstick accompanied with a creamy rouge cheek compact set the tone for this ‘60s inspiration. The new collection features two classic makeup items: Estée Lauder Mad Men Collection Lipstick in Cherry ($25.00), which is a bold red with a creamy, satin finish that delivers moisture throughout the day for a smooth, rich color. It is packaged in a lightweight fluted, golden case along with a pebbled leather-like gold pouch.
Estée Lauder Mad Men Collection Crème Rouge in Evening Rose ($40.00) is the second piece enveloped in a gorgeous retro-looking, fluted golden compact. The texture of the rouge is easy to blend and I swear it gave me instant cheekbones! It has a dewy, smooth and natural finish and adds a pop of color where applied. It too comes with its own pebbled leather-like gold pouch. Just by looking at the collection you can see the inspiration came from another, more glamorous era. Even their outer packaging were custom designed and inspired by the Estée Lauder packaging from the 1960’s.
These products will be available for a LIMITED TIME beginning March 2012 EXCLUSIVELY at Bloomingdale’s stores nationwide, www.bloomingdales.com and www.esteelauder.com.
