Review, Before/After Photos: Borghese Superiore State-of-the-Art Mascara
According to Borghese, the Superiore State-of-the-Art Mascara ($19.50) is “infused with a built-in, silk-powder foundation for superior wear.” It also contains “natural conditioners,” vitamins and protein, all which “add nourishing moisture” to lashes. Finally, it claims to provide smudge-proof, flake-proof coverage — and it is suitable for contact lens wearers and for you gals with those sensitive peepers.
Borghese also bills this as “thickening mascara,” but I did not find it visibly thickened my lashes. It was, however, a good lengthening mascara and it lived up to its promise as flake-, smudge- and clump-free; I wore it all day in the sweltering heat and still looked good by sundown. All in all, it’s well priced and a useful addition to your toolbox.
