Clinique has done it again! They took their #1 best-selling product, the Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm ($16.00), and made it more INTENSE! These new Chubby Sticks have a fuller lip coverage formula and remain easy-to-apply. They are still packaged in their playful, crayon-like barrel, yet, the new Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm are more of a marriage between a lip balm and a full coverage lip color.
I got to sample the eight new ranges and honestly liked each and every one of them. The pencil makes for an easy application and I like that these have a more full lip coverage. They are infused with shea butter, mango seed butter and jojoba seed oil — you feel the hydration and moisture upon application.
My lips felt supple and soft, and still had the stay-true buildable coverage. When used over time, the increased blend of antioxidants and oils will really pamper your lips.

I’ve heard such great reviews – my favorite is the Plushest Punch because it’s the perfect combination between pink, rose, and berry.
My favorite one would have to be the Midnight Maraschino because it looks like the kind of color which would fit my tanned skin tone and make my face look brighter, not more orange!

Lip products are my favorites and i have tried many different brands and types. I have to honestly say no other brand has even come close to the perfection in this lip product line!! If you have not tried it you are definately missing out on an incredible product. As far as color favoritsm I feel the Curviest Caramel will be not only the color for myself but that it would look tthe best on any skintone therefore making it the fave color for anyone. With all the fury about women and image issues, I find it surprising that Clinique chose to use alliteration with ‘chubby’ descriptors in naming their pencils. The chosen names just don’t make any sense!! As I say when I read things like that (and to quote Tom Bergeron from a recent “Dancing with the Stars”) “I’m sure whatever they were smoking must have been medicinal.”
That being said, I do like the “Broadest Berry” color. It seems to be on trend with the dark Plum lip we’ve been seeing around.
