Makeup Review, Swatches: Giorgio Armani Flash Lacquers - The Shiniest Lipgloss Ever!

Leave it to the Giorgio Armani Beauty creators to consistently come up with new technology in their beauty formulations. Remember how much I loved the waterless foundation known as Maestro Fusion Makeup? It took eight years in the making and was soon in every magazine, on every “Must-Have” list, and also won the Allure 2012 Best of Beauty Breakthrough Award.

Now, Giorgio Armani Beauty does it again with Flash Lacquer ($29.00) lipgloss! Available in 36 shades (yes, I said 36 shades), and coming to lips at fine department store counters near you and on giorgioarmanibeauty.com May 2013, Giorgio Armani Beauty introduces Flash Lacquer.

Buzzed about as the newest generation in lipgloss, having a crystal-like shine, it appears to be a hot item. Oils in the formulation are used to provide the highest reflection ever achieved! The technology used to make this formula allows light to reflect off of every surface for a pop of color.

The technology is called The Shape & Shine Memory Complex, and the key ingredient used to jellify the gloss has been replaced by a combination of elastic polymers that allow the lipgloss surface to be perfectly smooth and to reshape itself after movement. For the first time, the ingredient giving substance to the lipgloss truly fuses with oils, instead of absorbing them.
