Makeup Review, Swatches: Bobbi Brown Pink And Red Collection For Valentine’s Day -Lip, Cheeks, Nails
Bobbi Brown has a really fresh offering of products this Valentine’s Day season. If you’re not to a full-on red or pink person, this collection is for you. Just a little something to jazz up your face, lips and nails. A new way of wearing these shades can update your look as well. As Bobbi has stated, “I love pink and red worn together – it’s a very modern mix.”
This season, Bobbi has some new products shades to offer this holiday season: Sheer Color Cheek Tint ($26.00), Creamy Matte Lip Color ($24.00), Sheer Color Lip Gloss ($24.00) and last but not least Nail Polish ($18.00).
Sheer Color Cheek Tint is a beautiful, portable pop of color for the cheek. The two shades for this collection are limited-edition: Sheer Pink and Sheer Cherry. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like these colors, however, they added just the right amount of sweet flush to my skin.
Don’t be afraid of these shades, ladies — they are sheer and it’s impossible to overdue. I also love the portability factor. Very easy to throw in your purse and touch-up on the go. They are also non-oily and blend very easily.
Next up are the Creamy Matte Lip Colors in Hot and Heart. Heart is a gorgeous medium-toned red, which reminds me of Old Hollywood movie stars; Hot reminds me of a gorgeous pink that Barbie would have been wearing in the 80s. Both are glamorous and sexy. These lipsticks are very creamy and have a semi-matte finish. The durability factor is also long-lasting. Which is needed for a hot date on Valentine’s Day!
If dramatic lips aren’t for you, the Sheer Color Lip Gloss might be more your speed. Two new shades from this collection are Cherry and Pretty in Pink. Sheer Lip Gloss allows you to dip your feet into the water with bold color, without the commitment. The Spearmint-infused formula feels great going on, and you can just swipe it on without any precise application.
And last but not least are nails! How can a girl consider herself done without matching lips and nails? But the fun part with this collection is mismatching: Pink Valentine and Valentine Red is the perfect final accessory to finish your look.
