Makeup Review, Swatches: BITE Beauty Pastille Matte Crème Lipstick Collection – Spring 2013
I am noticing a trend, beautynistas! Either I am looking at collections for spring, with pastel colors, or seeing bright Pop Art inspired colors. BITE Beauty was inspired to create four new shades of their Pastille Matte Crème Lipstick ($24.00 each) inspired by French Pastille candies that are flavored with fresh flowers and herbs!
As seen on the runways of Missoni, Marc Jacobs, Holly Futon, Dries van Noten, Burberry and Prada, these richly pigmented, matte washes of color were created using a mix of pigments, powders and finishing products.
Top to Bottom: Pastille Lavender and Pastille Violet

I sported Pastille Violet today, and was complimented on the street! It also has long-lasting wear — up to 8 hours — and nourishes the lips with each swipe, thanks to the organic fruit butters in their formula. Pastille Lavender (swatched and pictured), Pastille Lilac, Pastille Rosebud and Pastille Violet (swatched and pictured) are available at select Sephora stores, as well as at Sephora.com starting February 5th!
