Makeup Review, Swatches: Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector – Best Primer For Oily Skin, Minimizes Pores
Many a primer comes across my desk here at the BeautyStat offices. Every once and a while there is a product that is new and different. Becca surprised me on a few levels with their New Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector ($36.00).
When I first touched this product, I noticed a main difference between this and other primers: there is no silicone in it! It glided across my skin, but in a less slick way. Immediately my pores seemed to disappear!
It reminded me of a liquid version of Mally’s Evercolor Poreless Face Defender ($40.00). Glad to know there are two products I can use now to ward off the evil oil slick that seems to erupt on my face every day around 3 p.m.
Some features of this product are:
- EverMat ™ reduces oil production by attracting and capturing oil for long-lasting, matte skin
- Instant matte effect ( can be used before and after foundation)
- Free of silicone, oil, alcohol, fragrance and parabens
One more point of difference which made me jump for joy — you can use this primer for oily eyelids before shadow! Hallelujah! This product is a must-have for oily gals everywhere!!

I need to give this a try, i Love MALLY DEFENDER AND I HVE THE WORST OILY SKIN WITH EXTRA LARGE PORES AND THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT PRODUCT FOR MY SKIN.
There isn’t anything more that I would like to try than to have perfect matte skin especially during spring and summer. I would LOVE to try this out to see how it performs!
Summer days for makeup staying power is a difficult task to achieve. My skin has been dry this winter but when warmer temperatures hit I’m an oil slick around my tzone so this primer would be awesome to try. Thanks
