Okay, ladies. Spring is almost here and what better way to get into the mood than by donning our nails with pops of bright, cheerful color! Some of my favorite nail looks for Spring/Summer 2012 come right off the runways with colorful, textured designs.
Nail art is still going strong with plenty of neons and what I call, ‘pastel brights.’ The colors of the season remind me of Dylan’s Candy Bar — if you’ve never been, GO and you will see exactly what I mean! Fun candy colors in pastels, bright neons and cool tones. Layering nail colors, textures and nail art is major this year, with ombre nails and pastel-colored French tip and moons mani’s still making a statement. No matter what you choose for your nail look this season, make it FUN!

Neutral nudes…just got a pale peachy/pink color that gives my nails just a little hint of color that I love. Pretty but not overpowering.

I adore teal or turquoise nail polish; it’s my go-to color. I love it because it’s fresh, fun, and unexpected but not too flashy. Not to mention it’s so cheerful… a definite pick-me-up on rainy days.

Definitely pastels and brights but I’m also loving nail strips. Lately, I love pairing bright pink nails and accenting them with nail strips.

I love all the designs, i am always on the lookout for new colours and designs…love the sally hanson decals, but i love the chanel peridot and graphite or any of the teal colours…right now i am rockin the new look i saw on the runway where each nail is a different colour, with a design on each nail so they look like easter eggs…till after easter of course and then i will change them to spring colours of course…..I have rocked the reverse french manicure and the different moon colours on my nails…they look awesome and everyone always checks out my nails to see what i do next lol

I absolutely love the Sally Hansen nail polish strips. My nails are paper thin and polish literally peels of in less that 24 hours. I like to maintain my nails at home so these are a perfect fit for me!

I would use Essie’s Tangerine and the ‘Sailing to Sardinia’ 2012 Collection to create little designs, such as Easter eggs my nails for a Easter-feel, then in the Spring, I’ll paint flowers and bright Springy colors to pump up the rainy atmosphere.
