FYI…Sarah Howe’s entry isn’t her own work. That’s a picture taken from jennissemakeup on Youtube. Jennise did a BFTE tutorial quite a while back for THAT look. i you look at all the other contestants there make up either looks pasty or of cheap quality, and does not compliment there faces.

stephanie looks very natural with only her eyes as the draw piece
her cheeks are well defined and so are her brows.
the base she used makes her face look flawless, unlike some of the others. she picked colors for her eyes that compliment her and stuck to her true color.

The comment posted on my facebook has a reason behind it.
1. to prove my point of people requesting me on the opposing side (which two of you just confirmed to doing that)
2.because i get thousands and thousands of request of these beauty junkies just waiting to steal my looks and style…i get request by the 400+…and not ONCE have i ever asked for any type of help or anything in return for taking time out of my day to make sure those 400+ request are approved- because when they arent i start getting messages about “why havent you approved me, i want to see your makeup”…so i thought that the ONE time I ask for all these people to do ONE small thing for me and they dont- the dont deserve to be on my facebook- stalking and taking my pictures winning my giveaways. People who know me personaly will tell you am not a mean person- am very generous and very giving so if you think youll label me as anything else- please fall off the earth.

This contest is not so much of the prize… I work at a cosmetics counter in a macy’s and i can easily get the prizes- Dior is the counter next to me, infact the CM is good friend of mine aswell. So this is NOT about some prizes- I entered because I sincerly love the Beauty Stat site and I wanted to be part of their first makeup contest- I do it for the title not the prizes. But since its obvious other are in despirate need for the prizes ill go ahead and take myself out.

Although it seems as if this has become more of a popularity contest..and sadly has started to become a little too political for such a fun contest–there are some people here who actually deserve to win.
In fairness, all the looks are beautiful in their own right. In my opinion, as a Fashion Photographer and an Artist–Stephanie’s look is the most creative,professionally (you can tell she knows how to wield those brushes!), Natalie Lyn’s is the “fiercest” and most striking (lady bug is one of my fave lipsticks!), Chamallie’s and Lauren’s are the prettiest and most wearable, Rosie’s is the most polished (and photographs well), and Lindsay is just flippin’ adorable! (Although I hope she doesn’t wear this much makeup on a daily basis! She’s 6!).
Congratulations on the effort ladies, and thank you for sharing your talent and passion with us! = D
